What are Melyoga Restorative classes like?

My restorative classes combine gentle stretching with soothing breathing techniques. We will begin and finish most sessions with a short meditation, giving you time to land on the mat and check in with your mind and body. Gentle movement is explored to set up the joints and skeletal system for stillness before moving into restorative postures supported by props.

This class is designed to nourish your body and give you some time to yourself. Beginners are most welcome!

Power

Yoga.

What is Power yoga?

Power yoga is drawn from traditional Hatha yoga and aims to detox the mind and body, bringing balance to both. Breath and movement are joined as you flow from one posture or ‘asana’ to the next, and in doing so, heating the muscular system and engaging the respiratory system. Power yoga is one of the few forms of fitness that works to simultaneously strengthen and lengthen the muscles.

(Be ready to get sweaty for this class!)
